TGA Lootbox assignment

An assignment I created during a course at TGA. I animated the lootbox movements, created the VFX and did the sound design.

The aesthetics were very inspired by Tears of the Kingdom.

The rig was made by Mikhail Gardberg.

Most interesting technical part about this effect was the sweep motion, which we did together in class. It was what eventually inspired the "pulse" effect in my environment VFX project. The node for the effect looks like this, with the location being instantiated to a socket location in the blueprint:

I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Game Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 23rd.

Any internship offers can be made on May 6th, at the earliest.
